Aug.    24 – Kid’s Back To School Beach Party  After the morning worship 

                   >> Place – At the pastor’s home.

            28 – Men’s Bible Study  8am

            29 – Singles fellowship at the home of Robert Porter. 6:30pm

            30 – Game night beginning at 6:00pm

            31 – 5^th Sunday Sing (meal-5pm-----music-6pm)

Sept.      7 – Deacon’s Mtg.-5pm

              8 – Church Council Meets-7pm at the church

                    Committees and Ministry Teams

Let’s start the new church year off right by each committee and team meeting to lay out their plans for the coming year.  If you are a chair or leader, please get with your group to initialize contact and purpose.  We have not had a consistent time of meeting with most of our committees and ministries and the time to get things going is now.  Please coordinate with the church office to schedule days and times you can meet. 

                  5^th Sunday Singing and Fellowship

We are planning another 5^th Sunday special time together on August 31^st beginning with a meal at 5pm followed by some tremendous music and song by many contributing churches.  This is always a wonderful time as we fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Christ from other churches. 

Please let the church office or Robert Porter know if you would like to sing or play an instrument for the next meeting.  Robert always does such a good job of planning these events, but needs your help to make it run smoothly.  Mark your calendar and join us for this time of celebration.

                  Mary Hill Davis Texas Missions Offering

Every year we give a special offering to Texas Baptist Missions.  The  money stays in the State of Texas to do missions here. Last year we gave over $850.00 towards this mission effort.  This year our goal is $900.00. Please pray about your support for this effort and give as the Lord directs in your life. Remember this money is above and beyond your regular giving.

                        Game Night Sept. 30 at 6pm

Don’t forget to come for a time of fun and fellowship.  Bring a snack dish and join us -  We look forward to being with you.
